- My Secret Forest is about Lauri, a 20-year-old autistic boy. He cannot speak, but can express himself through an interpreter to connect with the world. His texts offer us a glimpse into his world. In the forest, everything is calm and peaceful. Lauri feels at home in the company of birds, and can let go of the daily struggles and challenges brought on by autism. He often goes to the forest to think about the beauty of life and wonder about the world. Lauri feels deeply and longs for love. He dreams of meeting a girl who sees him the way he is: a charming, philosophical young man.
