Notes
The black and white prints of RFE/RL were donated to OSA by the Hoover Institute, California in year 2015. The images are duplicates of those held at Hoover. The originals, and most probably the negatives are with the donor as well. OSA only received the paper prints with captions, and digitized the entire collection in year 2018.

Contents Summary
The event takes place in what seems like a huge circus tent. On the left side of the picture there is a podium with a microphone, at which stands and speaks James L. Buckley, President of Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty introducing new members of the Board for International Broadcasting to the Radios' staff. To his left there is a long table on an elevation, with seven men. They have name plates in front of them, the first two are legible: Forbes, Burgerer. All have microphones in front of them. The table is covered with a grey cloth, the elevation is red. Opposite the table a few members of the audience is visible. All persons wear suits and ties. In the background there are a few more people at a table, which is covered with a white cloth. Same event as in HU OSA 300-1-8:6/70
