The black and white prints of RFE/RL were donated to OSA by the Hoover Institute, California in year 2015. The images are duplicates of those held at Hoover. The originals, and most probably the negatives are with the donor as well. OSA only received the paper prints with captions, and digitized the entire collection in year 2018.

Master Control at Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty. Studio programs were tape recorded here and relayed to the short-wave transmitters in Spain and Portugal for broadcasting. In the photo there is a row of wall mounted tape decks. Above each of the decks there is a sign with the name of the language of the service broadcasts in, and some other technical signs. At the bottom there are sheets of paper with the program schedules. On the far left, a man seen from profile is reading one of the sheets held in his hand. Cf.
