- The black and white prints of RFE/RL were donated to OSA by the Hoover Institute, California in year 2015. The images are duplicates of those held at Hoover. The originals, and most probably the negatives are with the donor as well. OSA only received the paper prints with captions, and digitized the entire collection in year 2018.

- Freedom Scrolls were part of the campaign Crusade for Freedom operating between 1950 and 1960. The Scrolls included a Declaration of Freedom which millions of Americans signed. As a last act of the Freedom Scrolls campaign, they were flown from America to Berlin and enshrined in the base if the Freedom Bell. Cf. HU OSA 300-1-8:3/6

Berlin officials attend ceremonies making enshrinement of 16 million signatures on Freedom Scrolls in the tower of the Berlin Townhall. Examining some of the packages of scrolls are Dr. Walter Schreiber, deputy mayor of Berlin, Howard P. Jones, acting director of Berlin Element, and Prof. Ernst Reuter, Berlin's Governing Mayor.
