- Notes
- The black and white prints of RFE/RL were donated to OSA by the Hoover Institute, California in year 2015. The images are duplicates of those held at Hoover. The originals, and most probably the negatives are with the donor as well. OSA only received the paper prints with captions, and digitized the entire collection in year 2018.

- Contents Summary
- Rolf Spaeth, German engineer in charge of RFE's Schleissheim receiving station outside of Munich is bending over a desk-top control panel. Another man is standing in front of a row of ceiling high equipment. Both men are wearing office cloths. On a shelf there is a typewriter connected to control switches. Cables are hanging on a hook. A metal container filled with strips of paper is on the floor. The station served to monitor radio stations and programs of Communist countries as well to maintain radio contact between the Munich headquarters and its New York office. Cf. HU OSA 300-1-8:1/25.
