“Sholeh zard” (saffron pudding) presents a young, disabled Iranian who is supposed to take a dish of ‘sholeh zard’ to the house of his grandmother’s friend. The grandmother gives up the idea and tells him that he is not able to do it. The young man defends himself by saying that he is capable of doing many things, including riding a bike or a motor-bike, actions that, when younger, he was considered incapable of. He takes the bowl, determined to deliver it to his aunt in order to prove that he can.
