Contents/Summary
- Summary
- "Mr. Death" is the story of Fred A. Leuchter, Jr., a US Federal Court qualified expert in execution technology. On the basis of his qualifications, Leuchter was commissioned by Ernst Zundel, author of the anti-Semitic pamphlets "Did Six Million Really Die?" and "The Hitler We Loved and Why," to conduct a pseudo-scientific investigation into the use of poison gas at Auschwitz and Berkenau. Leuchter’s results concluded that the Holocaust was a myth. Leuchter himself became a symbol for Holocaust denial with ideas backed in faulty and unethical research.
