These are the universal questions that occupy director John Webster in this cinematic letter to his imagined future great-grandchild. She will walk on a very different shoreline from the one we know. Taking a personal experience of loss as a starting point, the director takes us on a journey from Finland to the coal mines of Siberia, the Marshall Islands, and across the US.
