a| In 1999, Sean Sellers, sentenced to death at the age of 16, was executed in Oklahoma despite protests around the world. A few days before, the filmmaker filmed Sean on death row. He also met him, during his plea for clemency where the youth begged for his life, the family of his victims demanding his execution. Twelve years after Sellers’ execution, haunted by his memory, the filmmaker once again returns to Oklahoma to find the film’s protagonists and seek answers.
