- At the beginning of the twentieth century Palmira emigrated with her family to Argentina. In 1934 they were deported by the military dictatorship from the Gral. Uriburu to Spain on the eve of its civil war. "Amor Sanjuan" is her testimony recorded onto 82 years of audio tapes collected by her grandson, sociologist Luis Misis.
