- Vittorio Arrigoni, an activist and a human shield by choice and a journalist by chance, was killed in Gaza on April 15, 2011. Why him, asks this film? Arrigoni had arrived in Gaza in 2008 at the end of a "existential path" which led him to share the destinies of the people of Gaza even during the "Cast Lead" attack. The author provides a vivid portrait of the man and relives the tragic moments of his kidnapping , the horrifying announcement of his death, the raid carried out by security forces, and the trial which was unable to reveal the truth.
