a| The story is about two men and two different decisions taken, in order to live a separated life from the rest of the world. Vlado bought a deserted part of the land by the sea, and Zeljko is the lighthouse keeper. That’s how they become the closest neighbours.Thsi is a film about two men trapped in an unfair and wasteful world where profit rules everything. One has chosen to work on a remote lighthouse island in the Mediterranean and the other has resorted to the beach in order to cultivate vegetables and meditate. Could we call their way of living a silent protest against the values of today, or is it maybe escapism?
