The parents organise their son’s soldier see-off party at their summer villa. Neighbours, kins, and a local party official, are invited. In the mids of the abundance on the festive table prevails a gloomy mood. Emo – the son, has not appeared yet. Toasts start in his name and celebration begins, while a lush neighbour is provokatively dancing with the official Nedev. Others are trying to inform him on their personal matters and take advantage of the influence he has over property issues. Emo’s mother cherishes similar scheme. She hopes to engage Emo with Natashka – Nedev’s daughter and thus have his support for her son’s good future. However, both parents are shocked when Emo turns up and announces that he has just married Snezha – a girl, which obviously lacks Natashka’s advantages. In the mean time, a group of drunken neighbours and relatives make an attack on a man, who works on a plot, without having ownership certificate. They try to expel him from the place and throw all his belongings on the street. At dawn the guests take to their homes weary and feeling uncomfortable with their actions. The next day parents start preparations for the wedding party.
