- Summary
- “Generation Kunduz” follows five young Afghans living in Kunduz, the last major city held by the Taliban in Afghanistan before it fell to the Afghan Northern Alliance. The first is Mirwais, a 10 year-old boy who shines shoes to pay for bread. The second is Nazanin, a local reporter who fights for women's rights. The third is Hasib, a student and activist. Lastly, there is Ghulam and Khatera who are shooting a film in the middle of the armed conflict. This documentary provides a glimpse into the minds of a young generation that lives in constant fear of Taliban attacks and the consequences of the foreign military’s presence.
