a| One day a catholic priest, a Jew whose parents died in a Nazi concentration camp and who was brought up by a Polish family, answered a phone call from Martin Bormann, the son of the Martin Bormann who was a close associate of Hitler. The phone talk moved the priest. Some days later he received Borman's autobiography. After considerable effort and a correspondence which provoked strong emotions on both sides, it was possible to persuade the son of the oppressor and the son of the victims of Holocaust to meet to discuss the memories of the past.
