- From 1980 frequency changed: 6/year. Continued by Curentul (Bucureşti, 1997-), ISSN 1453-8016. The journal is the continuation abroad of the newspaper with the same name, founded in 1928 by Pamfil Șeicaru. Apparently in 1944 the periodical was suspended mainly because Șeicaru had an antimonarchic, antisoviet rethoric and was dissmissed not only by the Romanian intellectuals in exile but also by his fellow newsmen in the country. In 1977 some of his disciples gathered in Munich and decided to revive the newspaper before Șeicaru's death which occurred in 1980.
