Summary

Early 80s – intellectual elites stage a campaign for the freedom of expression, assembling intellectuals from all over the former Yugoslavia. Professors from the Praxis group make up the core of the strongest opposition group, the Free University. Mid-80s – intellectuals propagating a national state of all Serbs as the only option begin to take over the Serbian political scene on the eve of the country's disintegration and wars. The concept that turns into a state policy when Milosevic comes to power.
