520    For a clever Chinese student, admission to one of the country's top universities is the supreme goal. The number of available places at these institutions is limited, so it is a cutthroat competition. The students do their utmost to get ahead; in the year prior to the entrance exam, they subject themselves to a rigorous regime that is wholly dedicated to studying. The director followed five intelligent teenagers, who at their school in Chonqing cram for a glorious future. The examination results will determine whether these five will realise their dream. Every day, they study from seven o'clock in the morning until eleven at night, but the unremitting stress takes its toll. The teachers are under pressure, too. If their pupils will not score fine results, they miss out on their bonuses and the school will lose its good reputation.
