- The director, Gamma Bak, had her first episode of schizoid-affective psychosis in 1995, when she was thirty years old, working as a film director and producer in Berlin. The documentary explores over fourteen years of her own experiences in and out of psychiatric institutions through a series of interviews with her friends, relatives, and fellow patients.
