Lonely, and with no support from his intimidated household drudge of a mother, the boy finds his only friend in an old stray dog from the kennels. He is a gifted soccer player and during preparations for a school football cup, Bartek’s secret is revealed. His coach, previously strict and hostile, now decides to intercede for him.
