Dharamsala is a small village in northern India and it hosts the largest Tibetan community in exile. Known as “Little Lhasa,” Dharamsala is the seat of the Tibetan government in exile, the Dalai Lama's official residence and a place of hope for the thousands of refugees leaving Tibet, crossing the icy mountains of the Himalayas in search of a better future. The film follows the Tibetan community in exile and exposes their struggles to preserve their cultural and spiritual heritages.
