a| The film takes us to the northern Burmese town of Bhamo, home of inventor and scientist Sein Win. He is 63 years old and lives on the banks of the Irawaddy river close to the border with China. Without any support Sein Win has already created a horizontally working windmill and several other inventions while his biggest unfinished project is a helicopter. Some consider Sein Win crazy but he ignores them and holds on to his dream to fly one day. Sein Win also knows that in a military dictatorship flying is dangerous, but he carries on.
