The black and white prints of RFE/RL were donated to OSA by the Hoover Institute, California in year 2015. The images are duplicates of those held at Hoover. The originals, and most probably the negatives are with the donor as well. OSA only received the paper prints with captions, and digitized the entire collection in year 2018.

Lane Kirkland at RFE/RL's Board of Directors meeting in Munich in April 1984. (Photo). In: Airwaves, May/June 1984, p. 4-5. AND "Lane Kirkland is President of the AFL-CIO (American Federation of Labor - Congress of Industrial Organizations). A graduate of the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service, he has been active in organized labor for over 35 years. Mr Kirkland had also served on many Presidential commissions and advisory bodies, including the U.S. delegation to six International Labor Organization conferences in Geneva and the General Advisiory Committee on Arms Control and Disarmament.
