a| A unique and intimate portrait of the daily life of three women living in an Amsterdam women’s shelter house. All three have fled from their violent partners. Although they try to build a new life, the young women cannot just let go of the man they ran from. The quarrels and the rows are carried on by telephone, quarrels about the past, about debts and about the children. This film observes the bickering and squabbling as well as the mutual support the women give each other.
