a| The film reflects back on the circumstances of Peter Majchrzak’s death. Majchrzak was the youngest victim of the martial law in Poznan in the 1980's when it is estimated that nearly 91 individuals were killed by the Polish state militia and police. His family, Majchrzakowie, have been seeking an explanation for the death of their son for nearly 30 years and at the same time find themselves continually being persecuted by the communist system. The family plans to take their son's case to the European Court of Human Rights.
