- Notes
- The black and white prints of RFE/RL were donated to OSA by the Hoover Institute, California in year 2015. The images are duplicates of those held at Hoover. The originals, and most probably the negatives are with the donor as well. OSA only received the paper prints with captions, and digitized the entire collection in year 2018.

An editor of the Free Europe Organizations and Publications Division (FEOP) of the Free Europe Committee prepares on the weekly Bulletins which is mailed throughout the world to newspapers, radio stations, writers, scholars, public figures and professional people. The Bulletins are published in Polish, Czechoslovak and Hungarian, covering subjects of interest to exiles from the Iron Curtain countries. In addition, FEOP’s Publications Department puts out East Europe Magazine, which has a total circulation of about 30,000 including its companion editions in French, German and Italian. The Department also supplies news and analyses to newspapers, publishes political studies, scholarly monographs, popular pamphlets and broadsides.
Free Europe Committee, Inc. is the organization that operates Radio Free Europe, the international broadcasting network on the air daily to the captive peoples of Bulgarian, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Poland and Romania. FEC is supported through contributions of the American Public to the Radio Free Europe Fund (formerly Crusade for Freedom).
