The black and white prints of RFE/RL were donated to OSA by the Hoover Institute, California in year 2015. The images are duplicates of those held at Hoover. The originals, and most probably the negatives are with the donor as well. OSA only received the paper prints with captions, and digitized the entire collection in year 2018.

ORIGINAL CAPTION:
Munich - Security measures at the RFE/RL headquarters at Munich have been sharply stepped up since the Spring 1981 bomb explosion that caused more than four million marks damage. Now floodlights illuminate the fenced-in grounds at night while guards with dogs patrol the area and closed circuit television cameras scan blind spots screened by building wings. Radio contact is maintained at all times among the circulating guards and other technical devices have been installed to make unauthorized entry by other than the main entrance difficult.
