- Judenburg, a small city in Styria, a region in southern Austria, is notable for its history. Despite the city's coat of arms suggesting an anti-Semitic representation of a Jewish person, many deny the troubled history concerning the treatment of Jewish people in the area and no Jewish community remain in Judenburg any more. We meet Maria Cäsar, who was a member of a resistance group against the Nazi regime; her thoughts and the reflections of others inspire a critical outlook on Austrian history through their eyes.
