The film follows the 27th G8 Summit riots in Genoa, Italy in 2001. The confrontation between the State and social movements revealed the true nature of power. The police repression was the response to the most numerous protest that had been experienced so far. Three hundred thousand demonstrators faced the most violent side of democracy. From images of these events, taken from the most diverse sources, the film reflect in a general way on democracy, power and its symbols, the role of the media, violence, while posing a reflection on the cinematographic language and its possibilities.
