Contents/Summary

Summary
Leila, Selim and their 7 children live in Zaatari, a camp for Syrian refugees in Jordan. Filmed over 3 years, this documentary provides an intimate view of their day-to-day life in the camp. Selim, frustrated by enforced idleness, is determined to go back to Syria and fight. How will Leila cope with the birth of her eighth child? This family story is at once extraordinary and typical of millions of refugees who did not choose to leave their country and now face the loss of identity and of choice itself.
