Contents/Summary
- Summary
- "No obvious signs" is the phrase that demobilized Ukrainian soldiers returning from war hear in the hospitals where they seek help. If their bodies have no injuries, doctors and society at large do not address their underlying problems. What is the reality behind the discourse of military heroism? What do those who have been to war face in civilian life, and how long will they struggle with the aftermath of the war? This documentary is about one woman returning from war, talking to psychologists, battling PTSD and panic attacks, and trying to regain a normal life.
