"Homecoming" is a journey of immigration, identity and national belonging. Na-to, Auto and German are three young Israeli born children whose parents are immigrant workers from three different continents. Our intention was to see through their eyes the possible outcome of being forced to return to their parent's homeland. Our three protagonists were lucky to be legalized in 2006, but approximately another 800 children and youth just like them are still facing possible deportation. These three kids are not Jewish, but are deeply Israeli and their individual journeys take on a cultural and emotional dimensions. We travel with them to the Congo, to Peru and to the Philippines as they examine their roots and contemplate their future.
