a| This film is the story of Milan and Silvana, who live in Medulin, a small coastal town in Croatia. Milan breeds cows on a nearby island, as many in his family have done before him, but his attachment and love for his heard gets him in trouble with Silvana. His wife aims at a better life, one that would start with a roofed house and one that would require more attention from her husband. The life of this couple is following its own rules and time, quite detached from the pacy present Croatia.
