- “Chips and Liver Girls” follows the story of Sonia, a young actress, living in Kampala, Uganda. Sonia, not unlike many other women there, chooses to go out with men who can pay her money for sex and their company. In Kampala, this is not seen as prostitution but as a way to climb the social ladder, and to obtain a comfortable and modern lifestyle.
