In 2002 the German authorities sent many of these people back to Serbia and Montenegro, believing that there was no longer any reason for them to stay. In the fall of 2002 in Belgrade, Kenedi, working as a cabdriver, meets people who, like him, have been deported. They were woken by the police in the middle of the night, torn from their jobs and schools. Arriving in the former Yugoslavia, they again face a void - just like when they emigrated to Germany. The children, who speak only German and not a word of Serbian, feel displaced in their former native country, turning to the camera to say hello to their German schoolmates. An unusual view from outside the EU borders about the daily fate of refugees and the actual consequences of political decisions and bureaucratic proceedings. 655 4 Documentary films 260 Serbia and Montenegro, |c2003. 041 eng |jeng 952 |00 |10 |2ddc |40 |50 |6FL_RECORD_0012_000000000000000 |70 |8FL |989737FL |bFL |d2016-11-25 |l0 |oFL Record 0012 |r2016-11-25 |w2016-11-25 |yDVD-ROM |cAudio Visual 952 |00 |10 |2ddc |40 |6FL_RECORD_0012_000000000000000 |70 |8FL |9145129FL |bFL |d2019-01-24 |l0 |oFL Record 0012 |pHU_OSA_00001826.mp4 |r2021-11-04 |w2019-01-24 |yDIGIFILM |zAccess Copy, MP4 format |cAudio Visual 920 01 VeNW6Qo2 966 True |bHU_OSA_00001826 |cDigitally Anywhere / With Registration
