1. The Chronicle Publishing House, New York, published the book “The History of Dissent in the USSR. The Newest Period,” The first systematic description of all independent social movements in the post-Stalin period. The author of the book is a long-time active member of the human rights movement, historian Lyudmila Alekseeva.
In this program, L. Alenkseeva talks about the general development of dissent in the USSR, and shares assumptions about its possibilities in the future.
The conversation with her is conducted by Lev Vinokurov.
