a| Autism is a lifelong disease that happens in early childhood with no definite causes. Having no sense about one's surroundings and refusing to develop normal realtionships with others are typical symptoms of the disease. In 2002, Heilongjiang's first autistic treatment center was established in the kindergarten attahced to Harbin Women's Federation. A group of autistics are receiving a special treatment here: intervention training, the only method to treat autism in the world. Children here are passively receiving the tortuous treatment.
