- Summary
- A peasant woman is going to Moscow to visit her husband's relatives and to sell some ham on the market. She takes a taxi from the railway and befriends the taxi driver who falls for her at first sight. Yet when he invites her out that evening she does not come and returns to her family in the village. The film inlcudes many city-scapes of Moscow in the 1960s.
