The black and white prints of RFE/RL were donated to OSA by the Hoover Institute, California in year 2015. The images are duplicates of those held at Hoover. The originals, and most probably the negatives are with the donor as well. OSA only received the paper prints with captions, and digitized the entire collection in year 2018.

A man is standing behind a box which is placed on the top of a table and serves as a podium. He is happily smiling, and has one hand on his hip. There is a microphone in front of him. There are two other men in the picture, one is looking at the speaker the other at an image on an easel. The right shoulder of a fourth man is visible in the bottom left corner of the photo. They all wear suits and ties. On the wall there is a romantic painting of a sailboat on rough water. The image on the easel is the map of Europe and part of Russia, the title reads "RFE's Target Countries". There is a drawing of antenna in Portugal to mark Radio Free Europe antennas, and some pictograms in Germany for the Munich headquarters. The table is covered with white cloth, and there are glasses, cups, jars, ashtrays, salt and pepper dispensers.
