- The black and white prints of RFE/RL were donated to OSA by the Hoover Institute, California in year 2015. The images are duplicates of those held at Hoover. The originals, and most probably the negatives are with the donor as well. OSA only received the paper prints with captions, and digitized the entire collection in year 2018.

ORIGINAL CAPTION:
Munich -- U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for Human Rights and Humanitarian Affairs, Elliot Abrams, addressing the entire staff of Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty on Oct. 3, 1984. To his right is FRFE/RE President James L. Buckley. Mr. Abrams paid a two-day visit to the Radio, met with leading executives and analysts, and was interviewed for programming over RFE/RL's 21 different language services.
