a| Radu Dima, a gypsy who has become a teacher, returns to his native village of Dallas after twelve years. The settlement of barracks is located in a valley next to a garbage dump reflecting apocalyptic conditions. No water, electricity, sewer. Sizzling, billowing smoke everywhere. People move like gray, faceless figures on the almost panting, gigantic pile of garbage. They collect paper, metal, glass. Property is an unknown concept here, no one has a private life. Everyone knows everything about everyone, everyone pryes into the other's life. After his father's funeral, Radu wants to get out of here as soon as possible. However, it is inevitable to meet the faces and acquaintances immersed in the old, forgotten times of violence. When Radu gets involved in a "car theft" case, he has to see that his planned departure is shifting. He tries his best to cling to his ideas, but they gradually dissipate. He has to face his own repressed personality as well as the fate of the villagers.
