Scope and Content (Abstract)

The Foundation for the Support of European Intellectuals took part in the organization of various cultural programs such as exhibitions and conferences. Some of these were one-off events, others were repeated periodically. Their topics and venues varied widely, from the Poetry Biennale in Knokke-le-Zoute, Belgium to the conference on the political events in Poland, organized in Paris. These conferences focused on arts, poetry, cultural memory, social sciences and politics.

The series contains preparatory materials for the conferences, invitations, lists of participants, correspondence, reports and financial plans.

The series is arranged into chronological order according to the time of the conference. The materials of the Poetry Biennale (organized between 1968 and 1988 in Knokke-le-Zoute, Belgium) are placed at the end of the series.
