a| The Greek Civil War was fought between 1946 and 1949 which forced thousands of families and children to leave the country. Many of them found refuge in Hungary. Among the immigrants, there were approximately 400 families who moved to the Tobacco Avenue buildings, in Budapest. The film features interviews with many of these children, now elderly people, who recall their poverty stricken but happy years in Budapest. A look into the life of the Greek Diaspora in Hungary.
