Summary
Piotr Tymochowicz, media advisor to some of Poland's top politicians, claims that anybody can be molded into a charismatic leader. He set out to prove that he can transform anyone into a successful politician. Hundreds of people answered his call; only a dozen started training and only one survived. The film crew had a unique opportunity to follow the mechanisms of the birth and evolution of the most despised aspects of the Polish political class. Polish master Marcel Łoziński followed Tymochowicz and this project for three years, and this beautifully shot and edited work paints a compelling portrait of cynical demagogy and populism in action. Made in Poland, the film carries the universal message that demagogy and populism are not merely a Polish specialty.
