- Yossi Steiner is a leader of the Jewish community in Kosice since 2001. As a child he escaped the deportation of Jews in Kassa by moving to Hungary. After three years of persecution they returned to Czechoslovakia. Later, as many other Jews he emigrated into Israel, but his faith brought him back to Kosice, Slovakia.
