- Sergey, who is Ukrainian, was a soldier of the Soviet fleet until his both feet and his fingers were amputated due to frostbite. During 10 years he underwent 29 operations and lived with severe disability. Suffering deprived him of his will to live but one day, thanks to a spiritual transformation, Sergey completely changed his attitude. Today, he dreams of building a house for those who suffered a similar fate. He sees the world from the perspective of one meter above the ground and thinks it is more beautiful than ever.
