- The black and white prints of RFE/RL were donated to OSA by the Hoover Institute, California in year 2015. The images are duplicates of those held at Hoover. The originals, and most probably the negatives are with the donor as well. OSA only received the paper prints with captions, and digitized the entire collection in year 2018.

Munich_ International communications was the major issue here on April 27, 1986, when top international broadcasters met at Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty headquarters to discuss mutual problems and potential solutions. Among members of the expert panel, from left to right, were: Mr. Klaus Schütz, Director General, Deutsche Welle; Mr. Gene Pell, President, RFE/RL; Panel Chairman Karl-Günther von Hase, retired West German Ambassador and former Director General of the Second German Television; Mr. Victor Grayevsky, Director, External Services, Israel Broadcasting Authority; Mr. William W. Marsh, Director, RIAS; and Mr. Morton Smith, Deputy Director, Voice of America.
