Contents/Summary
- Summary
- This is a documentary that exposes American involvement in what the director calls "one of World War II’s best-kept secrets." The film shows how Russian anti-Communists were held on American soil until the U.S. agreed to forcibly repatriate them, placating Stalin, but violating the Geneva Convention treaty on the treatment of prisoners of war. The downside of this film is that it doesn't analyze the actions and nature of the Osttroppen. It looks only at the relationship with the Nazis, overlooking their often involvement into anti-Jewish and ethnic atrocities.
