- This legendary TV-series is a chronicle of the first post-war generation of Yugoslavs growing up in Belgrade during the 1960s. It evolves around young Bane Bumbar, his family and a group of his best friends. The series consists of ten episodes, each of which is situated in one year – starting from 1960 and ending with 1969 - and dedicated to one theme of Bane’s adolescent life on his way to maturity. Each episode typically starts with a portrayal of one of the main characters and ends with a real chronicle of the events that happened that year in both the world and Yugoslavia. In the first episode Bane is 15 years old and preoccupied with sport. Although not blessed with talent, he engages in all kinds of sporting activities and in the process tries to prove himself and get the attention of girls. The episode brings his first love failures and introduces the main characters of the whole series: his supportive family consisting of his grandmother, mother, father and sister, as well as his closest group of friends Uške, Boca, and Miki and his girlfriend Goca, whom he treats more as a friend.
