a| From 1963 till 1966 Yuri Goroulev was in active service in a Saxon town, Bischofswerda, at a small garrison where a Soviet missile battalion was stationed. This film is about the history of the town that came to the world's attention in 1987 when the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces treaty was concluded by the USSR and the USA. It is accepted that this treaty put an end to the Cold War, thus, the Soviet missile brigade was withdrawn from Bischofswerda. This film analyzes the events from 25 years ago from today's perspective.
